5. Please store in a cool and dry place. The temperature range is usually -20°C ~ 60°C (-4°F ~ 140°F).
6. If the battery is stored for an extended period, it needs to charge to 50%, check the voltage and capacity of the battery.
7. When transporting LiFePO4 batteries, please follow local regulations and guidelines for transporting lithium batteries, especially for air transport.
8. If the battery is damaged, overheated, or swollen, please stop using it and contact the manufacturer, or seek professional help.
9. Do not store the battery with metal items such as necklaces, hairpins, coins, or screws.
10. Avoid heating the battery or throwing it into a fire or water to avoid shortening the life of the battery.
11. Do not use sharp devices to pierce the battery, and do not arbitrarily decompose the battery.
12. If the electrolyte leaks out and accidentally touches your eyes, please do not rub your eyes, wash them with clean water and see a doctor immediately.
13. Do not use LiFePO4 battery with dry cell or other primary battery without permission, do not mix different brands and models of batteries.
If your trolling motor lithium battery is accidentally submerged in water, the following steps should be taken:
1. Disconnect the battery immediately to prevent electrical problems.
2. Dry the inside and outside of the battery thoroughly with a clean towel.
3. Inspect the battery for damage or other hazards, contact the manufacturer and a professional immediately.
4. If the battery is severely damaged and cannot be used, dispose of it safely according to local regulations.
