The institute has an innovative scientific research team led by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, with experts in the Lithium iron battery industry, specially-appointed professors, outstanding scientific and technological innovation talents and outstanding youths as the backbone. There are more than 150 R&D personnel at all levels and types, including 25 with doctoral degrees and more than 90 with master's degrees. Has undertaken nearly 50 national and provincial scientific research projects. It has successively approved the construction of multiple laboratories, forming a more complete innovation platform and innovation system.

In the future, under the guidance of the "innovation-led" development strategy, the institute will continuously improve its independent innovation capabilities, and strive to build the institute into a well-equipped and technologically advanced Lithium iron battery and Lithium iron battery material research center and public technical service platform.
