Daily work and life turn to
intelligence, whether it is storage or home appliance supplies, intelligent
supplies save time and effort. The most common appliance gadgets, sweepers are
worth mentioning.
Sweepers are now also used
outdoors. Road cleaning gradually chooses sweepers, and some scenic spots use
sweeping robots because the area is too large to realize manual cleaning. With
the popularity of sweepers, electric sweepers can be seen everywhere on the
road.
Electric sweepers are
environmentally friendly and recognized by most companies. There are different
types and brands of sweeper batteries,
and different batteries correspond to models. Currently, there are
manganese-zinc batteries, lead-acid batteries, maintenance-free batteries,
lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, and so on.
Lithium-ion batteries: high energy density, longer cycle life, lighter
weight. Usually used in modern electric sweepers, enough to provide stable
power and longer running time.
LiFePO4: LiFePO4 batteries are a type of lithium-ion battery,
with high safety, long cycle life, and good stability, and used in high-end and
professional-grade sweepers.
How exactly should I choose a
sweeper battery?
The battery choice depends on
many factors, such as the size, weight, and sweeper power, and purpose. Newer
sweeper models typically utilize the latest battery types to improve
performance and efficiency. Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations and specifications
for the particular sweeper you are considering.
First, 24V lithium batteries are one of the most commonly used batteries
in sweepers. The cleaning efficiency of a sweeper depends on the battery life.
The higher stored energy of lithium batteries means longer battery life and
high cleaning efficiency. Secondly, due to the long life of lithium batteries,
it can last for more than 5-6 years. The lighter the weight of the lithium
battery, the lighter the sweeper, and the longer the range. The production,
use, and disposal of lithium batteries do not contain or produce any toxic and harmful
heavy metal elements and substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, etc., which
are friendly to the environment.
Secondly, lithium iron
phosphate batteries are maintenance-free batteries with structural advantages,
impact resistance, high-temperature resistance, small size, and small
self-discharge. The built-in space of the sweeper is not large, the smaller the
battery size the more it can be put down, and the longer the battery life will
be.
Comparison of several types of
batteries commonly used in current sweeping machines:
1. Lithium iron phosphate
power battery
Lightweight, no memory effect,
charge as you go, low self-discharge rate, large capacity, wide temperature
range, high current fast discharge, long life, and environmental protection. At
present, lithium battery technology is mature, safe and reliable, choose the
mature technology products.
2. Polymer lithium-ion battery
Advantages: small size, light,
no memory effect, low self-discharge.
Disadvantages: expensive,
safety, and stability need to be improved.
3. Nickel-metal hydride
batteries
Advantages: high security,
good stability, cheap.
Disadvantages: large weight,
memory effect, does not support rapid charging, high self-discharge rate.
What is the difference between
lithium and nickel-metal hydride batteries for electric sweepers?
1. Compared with ordinary
nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries have the advantages of small
size (relatively), lightweight, low self-discharge rate, no memory effect, etc.
They are widely used in many new types of mobile devices, such as cell phones,
computers, and other mobile devices. There is a memory effect in MH-Ni
batteries. In case of emergency, there is no need to charge the battery after
discharge.
2. Lithium battery specific
energy, small size. The voltage of a single sweeper lithium battery is three
times that of a nickel-metal hydride battery. Lithium batteries have no memory
effect.
3. Lithium battery charging
requirements are different from nickel-metal hydride batteries. The single
voltage of rechargeable lithium batteries is 3.6V (the nominal voltage of some
battery packs may be 3.7V). When a lithium battery is fully charged, the
voltage will rise slowly. Typically, manufacturers recommend suspending the
charging voltage to 4.2V (for a single-cell Li-ion battery). Lithium batteries
are usually charged by limiting the voltage and current, and cannot charge with
a regular NiMH battery charger.
Most smart sweepers have higher
requirements for instantaneous battery discharge. Secondly, the sweeping area
of the sweeper also depends on the capacity. The battery of a smart sweeper is
related to the configuration system.
How to maintain the sweeper:
To extend the service life of
the sweeper, please do a good job of maintenance and repair.
1. Brush maintenance: the main
brush and side brush of the sweeper are easy to wear, please pay attention to
the angle between the main brush and the side brush and the ground, keep it
parallel to enhance the sweeping efficiency and reduce the wear and tear. If
the brushes appear curled, please use 80° hot water to rinse. Meanwhile, check
the length of the brush regularly, and replace it in time when it is seriously
worn.
2. Sealing plate maintenance:
when the sweeper sweeping, please pay attention to avoid sharp objects, and
avoid causing the sealing plate to break, when the sealing plate is broken,
please replace it in time.
3. Motor Maintenance: Regularly
check and clean the inside of the motor. Please make sure that there is no
foreign matter inside the motor, and replace the internal carbon brush in time
when it is too short.
4. Battery maintenance: sweeper
batteries need to be kept clean and dry. When the sweeper is charging, the
battery should be closed to the electric door lock, and prohibit inverted
charging, to ensure that the battery is full. In the charging process, please
pay attention to observing whether the battery odor or temperature is too high,
do not use water hands or metal objects in contact with the motor. Please stop
charging immediately and check the battery status in time. In addition, the
sweeper has not been used for a long time, regularly charged the battery, and cannot
leave the battery in a state of long-term power loss.
5. Precautions: sweeper in the
use of the body, pay attention to cleaning, and timely removal of dust inside
the car; regularly check whether the mechanical parts are loose, to ensure the
safety of sweeper operation.
In short, to sweeper can be used
for a longer time, needs to maintain and repair all kinds of parts, extend the
service life of accessories, and reduce the daily use of equipment failure.
